How to Apply Makeup While in a Moving Car
Imagine this - after a long day at work, you need to rush off to an evening party in celebration of your best friend's birthday. When you punch out from work, you realise you only have thirty minutes left to get to the event - not enough time to go home and freshen up. What do you do? The answer is quite simple. Hail a cab and get pretty while making your way through traffic. Applying makeup while inside a moving vehicle may sound challenging, but if you know a few tricks, you can even learn how to apply makeup in the dark. First, freshen your face with some cleansing facial towelettes. These will get rid of dirt and excess oil that have accumulated on your skin. Once your face is dry, apply a small amount of moisturiser and let your skin absorb it for a few minutes. Next, you can apply foundation. A moving car is not the best place to use liquid foundation so go for the powder formula instead. Pat lightly over your face, followed by a light dusting of loose powder with a large makeup brush.
Since you are in a moving vehicle, this is not the time to create smoky eyes for your eye makeup. Go simple and be content to use one or two shades. Forego the mascara and rely on the powers of a good eyelash curler instead. To finish your look, swipe a light shade of blush on the apple of your cheeks and dab some tinted lip balm on your lips. It may not be the sultry diva look, but you will step out of the cab looking fresh and lovely.
